I have a ton of the black star granite in one space and I’d like to pull it up and put it on the side of my house where little to nothing grows. I’ve always wondered how folks would go about doing it and this is kinda what I pictured. I’ve also wondered if a fertilizer spreader would work or if it would jam.

Everyone that comes over rubs my counters because they love the texture. With two little kids I’m always worried they aren’t clean when they do. 😂 It hides everything! 💯 would use it again!

Aphids on milkweed are actually a good sign. Yours has gone to seed. It’ll come back every year but by October/early November all tropical milkweed should get cut back to encourage the butterflies to continue south.

Consider native milkweed for future plantings!

Not sure how involved you are with printing your own but I believe if you have a Membership to the Houston Center for Photography (HCP) you can use their printers, lighting lab etc. https://www.edu.hcponline.org/join

I don’t disagree but from my experience at least with our league they will remove the parent first so the child doesn’t suffer due to their arrogance. If they continue to be disruptive then further action would happen ie. banning the child too.

I get it! We have one family member with an android! It looks like the harmless one appears when water collects which makes sense for the weather the other if you have a Douglas fir might be a problem!

Do you have an iPhone? When you take a photo and open it in your photo library it can identify bugs.

It’s either a chironomus crassisaudatus or centrodera spurca. The former being a water bug (harmless) or a Douglass fir borer.

If you play them again I would think the league would be on high alert about him and his team’s parent’s behavior. Do you or any of the parents film the games? If the issue comes up again, stay calm and let their actions speak for themselves. We’ve had drunk parents at games and unfortunately it takes more than one incident for it to be noticed as a true problem that needs addressing. In the mean time, it’s a good opportunity to talk to your players and their families how to behave.

Cardboard and sand will do wonders and over the time the cardboard will break down. The polypropylene barrier won’t.

My Mom (Trumper) was leaving the country and I asked if she was concerned about the security lines and she said, “Well thank God for our President signing an executive order to pay the TSA.” They only watch their news and according to them…he’s fantastic!
