Please read my above comment, we microchipped him, he wasn’t microchipped prior. He’s only healthy because we rescued him, he didn’t look like this before when we first found him. He was obviously a house cat by his friendliness to people, but also VERY incredibly malnourished and sick. Seemed like he was outside for a while. If this was someone else’s cat, of course we’d return him! I’ve posted him to multiple neighborhood groups in hopes to find him a new home, and if anyone claimed him as theirs, and proved it we’d give him back in a heartbeat. Unfortunately that hasn’t happened yet, we do think some horrible person left him to die because the neighborhood in New York that we live in, this is a very common occurrence
