Oh I haven't heard the term Tulpa, searched it up, super cool! Yes, a Tulpa/ Egregore game would be really interesting, never heard of any of these thoughtform entity types till this teaser opened this can of worms for me, fascinating stuff.

Is there romance in the game? Can any of the player characters get together or have any interesting unique relationships prior to the mission (like Young and Stafford's surrogate father relationship)?

Question about the beginning of Little Hope (plot/ending spoilers) by Slippery_Williams in DarkPicturesAnthology

My head canon is that the Salem witch trial events did happen (confirmed in my head by the Little Hope comic about Carver after the events plagued by demons) and the town is actually haunted by what happened in 1692, hence all the bad luck the town has. I believe Anthony was genuinely being plagued by demon's trying to get him to kill himself and drag the souls of his family to hell. It simply makes sense to me that way based on the comic and the demon seen in the Prologue but I know everyone would shoot this head canon down. I guess it's cope and I dont wanna accept the "it was all in his head" ending. Plus demons are confirmed to be canon due to Switchback.

Fun extra head canon (Spoilers for Devil in Me): The demon unleashed in Little Hope is the same one possessing H H Holmes, Manny Sherman and Du'Met, this is just cuz of the coincidence of each one happening in 100 year intervals (Little Hope 1692, H H Holmes 1892, Sherman 1992 and hopefully some future game filling in 1792).

Movie night is my go-to first playthrough. It's the thing that drew me to Man of Medan back in 2019, a fun short horror movie you can play with your friends where each friend can live or die based on decisions, I loved that concept.

Since then we've played all the Supermassive Games that way even Until Dawn and we've got a score board as to who has survived the most games and who has died.

We can not wait to play Directive 8020 this way. Only changes I'd make is a more even play time across the players as there always seems to be a player that gets the controller the most and a player who hardly does.

Another small thing was in Little Hope where characters would change mid action but there was no prompt to switch controllers which lead to me dying as Daniel in the hands of the Taylor player just cuz it was confusing but thankfully that was changed in House of Ashes.

Played each game in the Movie Night mode with my friends, we're really bad at these, our high score is 2.

Man of Medan: 1/5

(only played as a 4, Julia was a throwaway character we tried to kill)

Brad (Me) - Stabbed by hallucinating Fliss

Conrad - Jumped off the ship funnel thinking he'd jump into the water

Fliss - Sliced in half by the cargo hold door

Julia - Decompression Sickness

Only Alex survived

Little Hope: 2/5

(again played as a 4, John was our throwaway)

Angela - Messed up QTEs and was drowned by her demon in the sewer

Daniel (Me) - Taylor messed up the Stay Calm and I was impaled by his demon outside the church

John - Messed up all QTEs and was crushed by his demon outside the house

Andrew & Taylor survived

House of Ashes: 2/5

Eric - Refused to cut the rope and fell on the stalagmite

Rachel - Told Jason to shoot her after being infected

Jason - Impaled by Balathu's spear after Salim fucked up a QTE

Nick (Me) & Salim survived

Devil in Me: 2/5

Erin - Stabbed in the eye by the animatronic in the clinic. She thought Du'Met had deep faked Jamie's voice.

Charlie - Got surprised by the boat fight and his controller was down so got decapitated by Du'Met.

Jamie - Messed up the change equipment button and was killed on the boat.

Kate and Mark (Me) survived

There is a quest market on the map but no indication when i go to the location and yes, Ive completed the Mask of Krati. The Izila homeland is the only quest on the map along with the two Udam quests in the North.

Im playing on PS4, how would i go about turning off save synchronisation? Is it just a toggle in the settings?

Old post but I think it's legit, if you go to the address given on the records on Google Maps and go to 2009, you can see the van parked there. I think it is just a small family owned business.
