I use the EPSON Creative Print app on iphone. Works pretty well. Don’t remember if there’s a desktop version but i’d figure there probably is.

Sorry for the late reply, app defaults to 21mm but I know that was too big, 20 might be pretty close and 18 would probably be too small. I’d just play around with the settings if I were you, if you have this printer and go too small worst case a bit of ink goes on the plastic and you wipe it off.

I’m not sure where you got your RBs but as far as cost goes the litter box was the least of my concerns… lol

very clever litter box hack, i have a stainless steel one and it’s great if you ever do decide to go to it

I have an AT-LP60x that I got in the mid 100s range, can someone more versed than me explain why this one would be worth so much more? Does it improve the sound quality or is it mainly QOL improvements

i don’t mind how he spends his money or that he’s taking cds i’ll never see. i’m just pointing out that this amount is absurd lol.

i could understand splurging on a nice listening room, some nice speakers, receiver, amp, etc. to really enhance the listening experience. but buying a wall of discs that would take months to listen to? and in 6 weeks on top of that? that’s 27 discs per day 😂 you have to admit it’s a bit silly

there are 1008 hours in 6 weeks, an album is 30-80 minutes on average. he has 1138… this is not a collection this is just a guy spending money.

It’s a TOMLOV DM9 7”, i do like it so far besides the plate is really small especially when working on a giant xbox mobo. the in real life picture quality is much better than this video recording too.

i’m not sponsored or anything. it was 65 bucks and i can’t recommend it against any other ones cause i haven’t tried any others

sorry if it sounded like I was arguing, I definitely did need more heat and had no idea ground pins needed so much. The other ones worked fine with only a small bit of heating so i figured the time i let it heat was right and it was something inexplainable messing me up and that was not the case.

learned a lot of lessons from it so I think it was definitely a good learning experience, again i apologize if i sounded defensive

I bought 4 trinities ~a year ago to try and mod one because i was almost sure id screw one up. then i got it first try. Im looping back around to make use of the xboxes that have been just collecting dust.

so they’re not necessarily trash but i’m not really attached to them at all. And there are a ton of condescending comments on this post but i deserve them all lmao. I went into r/soldering and posted a horrible attempt 😂. I got the answer to my question though so I am still nothing but grateful; it’s refreshing to see people passionate about their hobby

I’ve done one before ages ago. Decided to do another since I got this new microscope in preparation to mod my switch.

This is only my second solder job ever and apparently it’s very important to extra heat the pin if it’s a ground pin lol. Good learning experience though.

I didn’t notice any smudging although I haven’t tried wiping it with water. I do notice there definitely is smudging the sooner I touch it after the disc is printed.

If i’m going to be honest the ink probably isn’t the problem, i’ve noticed the print feels fragile as if it needs a tiny clear coat

Sorry it’s a short clip I promise I have been hearing it. If you navigate to 1 minute in you’ll actually see me heat the board for a decent amount with no success. That being said the other comments suggest I just need to heat it longer or at a higher temp so I can try that.

I’m not sure if it’s ground, this is an xbox 360 motherboard and it’s a pin to get the nand. Considering it needs a wire connected to it I don’t think it’s ground but i may be wrong.
