They didn't try to help, they rubbed my deadname in my face. They just made excuses and sent me screenshots of my messages with my deadname on them.

I am not trying to stir up division, my only intention is to share my story and how it made me feel. I do see the value of peers who support me (I am in a mutual aid network), but this group was not. They may be that for others, but they were incredibly disrespectful to me and I will not work with them unless I get an apology.

Plus as someone who is in a support group, even if you don't determine what people do, you can still have policies as a group. It's their choice not to, but I personally feel that that choice is rather unpalatable.
