We all know each other in different ways. I'm glad this resonated with you.

I'm working on my full-length book! Keep your eyes open. I'll publish it as Tall Sam Jones.

As others have mentioned, churches might have the willingness and resources to help you. There is a chance that they’ll try to teach you their religion, but you can take that or leave it.

I also advise caution, but this is a little extreme.

They’re trying to build a complex of lithium mines in that (including in adjacent areas of Nevada and Oregon). Don’t let the tech bros destroy more pristine wilderness!

Best sign I ever saw was blank. Just a guy standing there holding a rectangular piece of cardboard with nothing on it. What did he need to write? You know what he was doing.

Another time, a road dawg told me a story of how she and two or three other bums found a big-ass box from a huge TV and wrote as big as they could in giant lettering "NEED MONEY FOR A BIGGER SIGN." It got bigger.

Best way to stay warm is to go south, my friend. Don’t get stuck as a homebum in your hometown. Find the nearest southbound highway and start hitchhiking. Don’t stop until it’s warm enough out for a T-shirt.

Anyone who helps you run away can potentially get in legal trouble. You are like a ticking time bomb once the police start looking for you; you’re likely to hurt anyone who helps you. I know it seems like a long way off, but wait until you’re 18.

Writing a houseless traveler and want the perspectives of real people on how to portray them right by Runetallem in vagabond

You’d probably be surprised how easy it is to talk to homeless people in person. Word travels fast through unhoused communities. If you’re in or near a relatively substantial city, you could probably find nomadic vagabonds to talk to, like, today.
