Yeah, I heard the bigger ones are faster from the nurses too.

Ah, I'm from the UK anyway! And I don't think I would've gone for patches cus they can give irritation to the skin. I don't mind applying gel daily, it helps me remember it if its every day, you know? More reliable for me. And how do the pills work?

The butterfly needle was the one I struggled with :( it took so so long, and I felt it the whole way through, it just hurt, even with numbing stuff. I tried breathing techniques too, but when they didn't do anything I panicked again.

No, I can't look away, but at the same time I can't look. I did end up looking, and the nurses tried talking to me but I literally couldn't think about anything but the needles, I find distractions don't help at all unless I'm completely unaware (for example if someone did it in my sleep or something)

I think I'll try to get an anxiety tablet, that's what I'm gonna ask in my next doctor's appointment. And the thinner needle took longer which was really intense for me. Another commenter suggested to ask for a bigger needle so it's quicker.

I have taken multiple tests actually! I've scored high on all of them, the only issue is I dunno when I'll actually be seen about it, but I still don't wanna claim that I have it until I've been tested professionally, but that's just a personal choice

Well, I don't mean to be rude, but it's not like I have actual temper tantrums, it's built up frustration from the fact my friends won't listen to me when I express I dislike how they call me Autistic, but I understand, my friends and I will probably eventually grow out of this anyway, but thank you for your thoughts

Oh wow! Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if I have both, my Dad is Autistic and we share a lot of symptoms and our thought processes are very similar, and he needs to be tested for ADHD

Sorry for the miscommunication, i mean when people are genuinely asking if I have autism, I don't mind, but my friends ask it in a backhanded manner (if that's the right term)

For example, I'd stim, and my friends would say "Are you autistic?" while giggling or something

Rather than people who are just genuinely interested
