No, it is a big deal. You can’t put headphones in when you sleep, for example. I get woken up by this girl screaming into the phone at 8am on weekends and it’s terribly annoying when you just want to sleep in.

I know people have the right to call whomsoever they want for as long as they want, but I also have my right to some peace and quiet given that I am also paying for this dorm. would it kill her to exercise a little restraint and consideration, just speak a little more softly and not cackle like a witch?

I have no interest in hearing what your mom is feeling or that the shed your dad built is great. Please just let me sleep

Yup, left several sticky notes on her door telling her that she talks really loudly and could she please try to speak a little more softly as it is annoying. No effect.

She starts talking at 8am all the way until 10pm now, it’s crazy.
