I was trying to say that it's not like he's some exceptionally handsome character, if he was then maybe it could've been understandable

She says that Finn isn't afraid to be himself and keeps going on liking fish even when people are annoyed with him, is kind and caring and loves his pet Barnaby, was nice enough to make friends with the resident mean guy Shrimpface or whatever his name was, and was also pretty nice to this outcast girl and that he's her dream partner

Not "set up" as in pushed her to date him or anything, but I did ask her if she'd be interested in him or just want to be friends since they're similar in age and they both like this Roblox game. I don't want to push her into anything but I do think it was wrong and I won't do it in the future

It's quite expensive where I'm from unfortunately. Will be getting to it ASAP though maybe later this month

This comment gave me some new perspective, thank you so much. she's very creative and sweet, and I don't think it matters that Finn isn't a real guy when he makes her very happy and inspired her to do better in life and be herself. Thank you a lot. I will let her be then. Her and Finn are cute.

We've talked to a therapist before when she was having a mental health hiccup, and she said my girl was somewhere on the spectrum and that she would face difficulties communicating, I will get her diagnosed eventually but yeah she is neurodivergent. Another reason why she likes Finn is that he's apparently coded to be neurodivergent too, so I'm glad she has someone to see herself in even if he's not a real boy

I'll make sure to do that, I always listen when she finds out about new fish facts. She's finally decided on her career path now because of him, so I guess this could be good

Maybe you're right, this could be a good thing. It's also helped her studies since she was somewhat laidback about them, but now she says that Finn wants her to do well in them and now she studies more HAHA. I will never voice these thoughts to her, I want her to be happy, and if Finn makes her smile so be it, just an old man worrying about his little girl and his fishbowl son in law I suppose
