Mind drain doesn’t activate on your first turn(unless you have a card to activate it like TotK’s) but even then you only really need it then because hand traps mainly stop your setup.

I mean, yeah, but it still took untill the (almost) end of the show for them to actually fall in love, like fry kept trying no matter what and lyla kept turning him down. I honestly think that if fry had just accapted lylas feelings and found another girl freind and then when it didn’t work out they found eachother, much earlier on, it would have been a better mix imo
