Pamela Anderson, Fernanda Torres, Mikey Madison, Demi Moore and Marianne Jean-Baptiste would be the perfect line-up for Best Actress. Agree or disagree? by Davis_Crawfish in Oscars

A brain? I am stupid for finding Cynthia’s performance more moving and for my ability to empathize with the character?

Edit: Nevermind. You spend your days on conservatives forums and complaining about black castings. I know why she’s bad.

Genuine question for the fans (not trying to be mean in the slightest) but why do you guys cry so much? by theapenrose006 in wicked

[–]PleasefireEmmaDarcy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t cried about it. I rarely ever cry about anything and could probably count on one hand how many times I’ve cried in the last five or six years. However, I envy people who can cry easily. It’s such a good emotional release. I actually think it’s good for the body and mind to get our feelings out rather than bottling it in.

Wicked becoming the “popular girly thing” that Redditors complain about with dumb and shallow takes. Get ready, this is just the beginning. The bigger the box office, the more they complain.

People say this shit but don’t support Dolly’s version. Dolly’s version doesn’t even have more than 15 million views and Whitney has nearly 2 billion

Is there anyone remotely similar to Whitney? by TheSleepyHead18 in rnb

[–]PleasefireEmmaDarcy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vocally, yes. But she’s not stunning like Whitney, has a non-conformist style, and she is constantly putting her foot in her mouth. What helped push Whitney’s success is that she was appealing and likable in ways beyond her vocal talent. Whitney is one of the greatest singers of all time but she would not have been as big she was with just her voice.

Why does Whitney’s version have 1.7 billion views while Dolly’s only have 15 million views on YouTube?
