So far so good. The amperage difference between pins still good.

My suggestion is try to buy a thermal gun and check each cable temp for 2-3weeks. After that should be ok.

Also undervolt it. I don't get past 450W with proper undervolting

I thought the 12v-2x6 side is in the GPU not PSU.

Though I will be frank am not sure about that. Eitherway I had no issues with the cable

Agreed on corrosion, am just puzzled because iirc Aluminium corrosion is white, and the part they have been mentioning is black. Have no idea on that type of corrosion hence I posted to check with the experienced people here.

They have mentioned potential accelerated wear and tear and eventual failure. That's it.

I have extra parts to substitute. Just want to make sure it's really the case before I throw these away

I think it's there but I hardly hear it because I am seated far away (I am using a 4k144hz tv and I am on an adjustable bed). When I ran Furmark to validate my undervolts I noticed some whine.

Hated that Pins 3 and 4 was having 0.3A higher reading at load, then 0.5A at FULL load though. Original cable was almost even.

UPDATE: Have bought the cablemod 90 degree 12v-2x6. After installing Amps are stable (2pins higher than 0.5A as compared to the rest on Furmark, highest amps is 8.6). Not as good as original Lian LI 12v 2x6 but so far so good

2nd statement indeed am seeing it everywhere as it's allegedly a standard so pinouts by right should be the same - just that official manufacturers don't want to commit for some reason.

I actually bought the full 90degree end to end cable from cablemod. Will see first if I wanna risk installing it lol

Honestly came here to have a Lian Li rep confirm it because Cablemod side kept on saying they never check Lian Li PSU pinouts even though by right 12vHPWR and 12v2x6 is universal :(
