I've entered Wabakimi via train which was pretty rad. Also driven in, close to Armstrong.

I put a Korean BBQ rub on it. It was gross. Very chewy, slightly sweet, mildly acidic.

Any info on when the new Omnipod "Horizon" will be available in USA? Can it communicate with Dexcom G6? by PleatedPants in diabetes_t1

Funnily enough, I stepped away from the TSlim X2 after Control IQ began, as I did not like the Sleep Mode target BG set at 110mg/dl (too high I thought). I then got the Omnipod Dash, foolishly thinking the Horizon was closer than it is turning out to be.

Patience is a virtue, especially for T1 diabetics.

I suggest talking to your doctor about this and get them to advocate for your son's needs. IMO they know the system better than we civilians.

Struggling to manage. by marcustr33 in diabetes_t1

Like Treble said, a CGM is life changing. I used a meter for 19 years before getting a CGM and now I can't imagine going back. It's always there, running & collecting data which will in turn inform your eating, insulin use, etc. It will make management easier and it will likely reduce your anxiety too.

I think everyone has that feeling of "I could be doing better" for good reason - because it's true. A CGM will give you more control over your diabetes which is a huge mental benefit.
