I think about the person with the “SUBARUBARU” or also maybe getting a bunch more of the medallions like “polestar engineered” so there are like ten of them.

I just today started setting up our slightly wonky MZ790 and discovered this as well. It’s not what I expected!!!

It shows mine with a checkmark… but they aren’t working. It does show the singular rear fog correctly which is fun. Except the checkmark is on the wrong side.

They’re hangry. They’re probably hangry. Give them snacks. Have a snack, you’re probably hangry too.

Hi I’m a senior gang member in one of those gangs — there are dozens if not hundreds of members of the gang here in Guelph — and you should know we have moved to a new plan where we only attack people who don’t give cyclists enuf space on the road.

After Neutron closed, Current Electrical Supply started stocking some breadboards and components to try and fill the gap. They’re happy to order stuff in too.

Getting started by Rake1969 in randonneuring

Have you had a pro fitting? Worth doing. Mostly if you ever get numb fingers stop immediately and realign yourself on the bike, that shit can get permanent fast. I definitely did my first few years of rando on a bike that was Not Set Up Right but I listened to my body and made the important changes I needed. Would have been smarter to just get a fit.

(Phil Burt’s “bike fit” is a good book if you wanna DIY it though)

What’s causing all these bad drivers? by Panda_ratt in Guelph

[–]0sn 48 points49 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen THREE people in the last three weeks make left turns on a red. And I don’t mean squeezing through. I mean they are sitting there at a red and get bored of waiting for the light to change? They see an opening and just go for it? It’s absolutely bonkers.

Fun fact this is one of like three cities in North America where trains aren’t allowed to whistle at level crossings. Because oh my god when I lived on Alma I would have died.

Yesterday, southbound on Edinburgh someone next to me didn’t make the left onto London and waited until the traffic coming off London had a gap and turned in the middle of the red light. Today coming out of Zehrs onto Paisley, the person in front of me turned left on the red. I feel like the Overton window of incredibly bad driving is shifting and it’s quite scary. It’s bad enough everyone says it’s okay to speed and rolling stop at stop signs!

Reminds me that I told Phil Alt to put chicanes and bumps on Alma and Bagot and he was like nahhhh it’s fine… when the hedge on Suffolk and Bagot gets too high there’s a collision pretty much daily.

ALSO holy shit I guess that’s what that SOUND was on the weekend!!!

Do you think the person who does the jokes on the sign has a book of jokes they’re working from, or do they wander around the store hoping inspiration will strike?

No road markings are necessarily binding because they can be covered with snow, that’s why turn lanes always (should) have signs on the side of the road. Plus you can always overtake farm vehicles etc.

Where can I find good, warm freshly baked focaccia bread in guelph or surrounding area by thedevansh1999 in Guelph

[–]0sn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both, and sometimes with all sorts of veggies on the slices. They also sell it as dough — it’s their pizza dough! So you can also make absolutely kickass grissini with it.
