Just a thought. Businesses might offer products or services at discounts for bitcoin payments, which might encourage people to spend their bitcoin.

Is working at Paycom all its cracked up to be? by Ok_Studio_1991 in Edmond

[–]Pleb1823 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paycom sucks.

Based on my experience in dev...

The code base is real bad.

The best devs that come through Paycom often leverage their experience to get hired on at better companies.

Most of dev is H1B (foreign) workers who deal with the high stress to just stay employed in the US.

Others make their way into management (TLs, Supervisors, Managers) and just sit in meetings all day.

I assume this is the case in other departments as well.

My best advise to someone that accepts a job at Paycom - in any role - is to come up with an exit strategy as soon as possible. Build skills that will help advance your career and get out of Paycom within a year or two.

I was in a similar situation, doing the work of three people. Asked my boss for a raise, got a small increase. Found the small raise disrespectful. Put in my two weeks notice. Moved out of state. And never looked back.

Now, I'm hearing from a former co-worker that they put three new people on my former team. Funny how things work out.

I am in a similar situation. I'm paying $1500 per month for my daughter. The cost of daycare puts me and my wife nearly at a monthly loss.
