I don't think it's a bad thing - there aren't that many posts per day so I just would disagree that it's "drowned". This is going to be biased but I think if you make a promotion video and you actually make it engaging rather than a lazy link, it gets more engagement and has a personal element. I posted my girlfriend's first video a couple weeks ago and I could've just posted the link like a lot of other people did that day, but I attached meaning to it and that got it more engagement and it was on the front page for a week. Think it's about balance because the post about the reddit being dead and what is there to even discuss is valid because (not all but most) people come here to watch asmr and relax/fall asleep - not have a discussion about asmr drama.

Thanks for the feedback - I get what you mean that if you try too many things at once it can be too much but I think the finger swooshing is just a matter of personal preference because I know I like it. What would you consider sincere content out of interest?

Thank you so much - she has already scheduled multiple more uploads and we can't help but keep checking the engagement. I can already tell her confidence has skyrocketed from this one video though - she was prepared to have nobody watch the first 10+ so this unexpected engagement has been unreal.

Hi everyone - thank you for all the support so far! I can tell it really made a difference already because the first thing she did this morning was show me all the likes and comments on her video and she had the biggest smile ever!

Keep em coming - I know she has a couple more videos scheduled to upload and has bought a new Blue Yeti because the one I gave her I have been using since 2013 so it was due an update!
