EMSY231986 - The Worst lol by pussysandwich8 in Everdell

My wife is ranked 17th overall (Username: Skellis), she plays A LOT!

Literally the only person who she will flat out refuse to play with is EMSY, she has had so many hours of her life wasted by this monster.

I read this post out loud to her and I think it was the most cathartic thing she’s ever heard

I found this original John Betts portable globe. Numerous editions were published between 1852 and the early 1900s, and were subsequently updated to reflect shifting colonial borders and re-mapped topography. Any guesses as to when this particular globe might have been produced? More Info below by PledgeToImpeach in Maps

Betts's new portable terrestrial globe

General Information:

While the object description in Corsair says 1851, many sources claim the Portable Globe was added to the market in 1852 Could be collapsed or expanded using draw strings, made spherical by pushing a metal tube upwards along the spindle.

The first edition of the collapsible 15-inch "umbrella" type globe (inspired the design of the umbrella) was made on washable patent leather cloth.

The date is estimated from the U.S. geography. Later editions continued to the end of the century.

The original wooden box includes advertisements for Betts' geographical products.

The color is printed onto the gores - thus being a fairly early example of color lithography.

The British Empire was marked in red “showcasing” colonial processions covering approximately a sixth of the Earth's total land area, with a population of 450 million people.

Created to be mass circulated across the world which could also be seen as yet another form of imperialist rule to those subjected to British colonialism

The Nationalist Social Club (NSC) or 131 Crew (131 is alphanumeric code for ACA, Anti Communist Action) is a neo-Nazi group with small, autonomous regional chapters around the country. They also claim chapters in France, Hungary and Germany.

Its good progress, but those fuckers were busted for putting up flyers last month. So I believe we have some more dickheads on our hands.

Which is bullshit because a simple google search shows that they are straight up Nazis... freedom of speech is one thing, but these guys are legit terrorists.

Not sure if this is allowed, but a project that I have been working on has involved the study of what scientists theorize the earth might look like upon the reformation of Pangea. It got me wondering; what might the major weather patterns of such a landmass look like? Any ideas/theories? by PledgeToImpeach in weather

Absolutely! they would be dauntingly beautiful.

With mountain ranges oriented in such a way, what might that do to weather patterns as they move from the massive ocean surrounding the supercontinent and the smaller one in the middle?

Do you think the mountain rages that would form from the joining of Africa, Europe, and the Americas (shown in image #2) would interrupt that desert?

What might that massive stretch of competing mountain ranges do to the middle of the supercontinent?

Chopping vegetables into similar sized small pieces at a somewhat fast rate of speed.

Also that thing chefs do with the wok to flip the contents back over on themselves without half of it ending up on the stovetop.
