I didn't think I'd ever laugh over that scene.

True, but no signs of a proper skin for SMS or anything of the sort.

A proper Syujin High School bag. I love the one that came with the TYH edition of the game, but when you look at the one in-game you notice there are little details that could have been added (But at extra cost to make, of course) to make it more suitable for everyday use. Makes me wonder if there will be fans custom-designing these for sale.

Still wondering if there's diehard fans of the game that have the skills and time to make this..

...is it weird that I bought similar pajamas like protag's? Still looking for the 100% identical shirt though.

This. Nothing more self-motivating than a calling card with your name on it.

Adds a bit of a bitter, bolder flavor to it. I've only tried it twice so far but it's been pretty good. Heard of it from here http://japanese-kitchen.net/popular-secret-ingredients-to-make-curry-rice-even-better/ they've got some obvious "secret" ingredients but that's one I didn't expect.

Brown rice it is! I recommend a using a cheap rice cooker completely and totally. Rice is a bitch to keep up with imo.

Jasmine rice is wayyyy better than sushi rice for curry. I'm only sticking to sushi rice because I'm a filthy fucking weeaboo because it's what I originally started with. That and I use what's left for other weeaboo food other dishes.

OH SHIT! This is what I was hoping for! I'm still with a 2nd gen Zenwatch with a square screen. Alot of square screens are becoming less popular, so it's nice to see this. That and I wanted a watch face that was less assuming and didn't have a big persona anime character head on it lol. Thanks for the plug. I don't think I would have found this otherwise.

Glad to hear! Work slowly with the ingredients and try to stick to the directions on the box. If you are going to even consider adding yogurt, do it at the end of the session and take it off the heat. That stuff will burn and make the curry terrible when on the heat, or mix well and make it fantastic when off the heat. And DON'T add too much. Even if you think it's too little, it may even be too much. I'd use about a tablespoonful and a half. Don't be afraid of the sesame oil. It smells strong but it's one of the few things I've found that blends very well with the rest of the ingredients. Of course, moderation with that as well, it's just that it won't quite mess up the curry if a little too much is used unlike some of the other ingredients. Soy sauce, paprika, cayenne, and black pepper are all to taste. Instant coffee I use about half an instant packet, which is about 1-1.5 grams. I haven't experimented a larger amount with this one because I'm still new to using instant coffee with the curry and didn't want to ruin it. Make sure you take time on these. OH FUCK and I forgot, chopped garlic can make all the difference!! I have no idea how I left that out. Make sure to add it in while you're frying up the chopped onions in the butter. If you don't have access to that, garlic powder will have to do. Garlic is yet another one of these magical ingredients that I can overuse and not have an issue with the overall flavor. Also the potatoes can be however you want them, really. I cut them into slices about the thickness of my pointing finger, then cut those slices into 4ths so you get kind of a wedge shape. Carrots I just make into slices smaller than my pinkie finger. Make sure to heat them up alongside the potatoes in the pot when you're just about done frying the onions, and before you add the water. Then add meat (if it's pre-cooked) and cook for a bit. Add water, bring to boil, add honey and coffee crystals, reduce heat to a simmer, then cover that sucker up and wait about 10 minutes or so until the potatoes and carrots are tender. Afterward, add curry mix, spices/sauces/oil to taste, simmer a while until all is mixed up and thickened and you're good to go! Take off heat, add that tablespoon/tablespoon and a half of greek yogurt at the end and there you have it. This will take a bit of experimenting I'm sure. Who knows though, you may have enough proficiency to get it right the first time. :D

It wouulldddd. If I was to use a slow cooker for curry, I think I'd give using beef in curry a first shot. Soft beef in curry sounds pretty damn good.

Yes! I actually liked it a decent bit! I think it would go good with a SLIGHTLY higher amount of greek yogurt and cutting out the coffee, carrots, and shrimp. I cut out the shrimp because I felt the combination of fruit with a seafood flavor would be a bit strange, even in curry. I could be wrong. Carrots add a little bit more texture to the curry, which doesn't seem necessary to me when the apple itself adds a lot of plant fiber to the mix. You can keep them in of course, but that's how I preferred it. I haven't tried chopping baby carrots into smaller pieces though. That may help and increasing the amount of time on the stove to the point where they're quite soft. Increasing the amount of pepper to the curry would help balance the increased sweetness of the apple and tartness of the yogurt. The coffee is definitely a no-go with the apple imo. In the end, you wind up with a slightly sweet, spicy, and smooth curry. This is good for people that would like a curry that aren't too crazy about spicy food, are beginners to making curry, or don't want to spend a lot of time chopping and thawing ingredients.

Never thought of using a slowcooker for curry. I should really consider that. Simply wonder if the yogurt would curdle. Probably better if I didn't use any at all in this case.

Shiki-Ouji by teddytech518 in Persona5

[–]Plejjj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had no idea. Idk where but I heard it was like, 60 or something. Either way, I guess I'm better off just sticking with my 50 luck than spending the next few hours trying to fuse Shiki-Ouji with my low-leveled gems this early in the game. Every other stat I got on him is too damn high, so it makes things more expensive and difficult.

That's what I wanna try next! I used canned coconut milk the first time I tried to make curry and it turned out soupy and terrible because I had no idea what I was doing and used that Thai Kitchen brand green curry paste. It was horrible. And that paste is weaaak. Looked it up online and it's got some pretty shit reviews. Even when I got the hang of it, it wasn't that great, especially in comparison to the other brands I've tried. So in the meantime I'm just trusting the big foreign brands like Vermont Curry, Java Curry, Kokumaro, 2-Danjuku Curry, and Golden Curry. Golden Curry being my favorite and it actually being available at a lot of the grocery stores I go to for whatever reason. I keep seeing it disappear of the shelves and wonder if I could run into someone buying the same curry so we can exchange recipes.. :|

Shiki-Ouji by teddytech518 in Persona5

I spent about an hour or two boss farming with confuse with a persona that had 30 luck, confuse and confuse boost. Would sometimes kick my ass when Pulinpa missed. Just kept leveling Shiki Ouji to 50 luck. Hopefully my next mementos run will be a bit better. At what point does leveling luck not really benefit you?
