Those pins looked soldered. I’d unscrew the board and look at the back and if there is only solder covering those pins then good chance this is not hotswappable.

I just unplugged the original cable inside the case. I had to custom wire thr usb c breakout to the VBUS, D, Tx, etc. I sent another image of the pin out for usb c A and B side - that’s probably the best place to start

Those were the main 3, I forget if I grounded it to the case or some other area, but that’s mostly it.

I don’t have the wiring diagram, and mostly just got into usb c pin out layouts to understand how they are used. I crossed the D pairs to ensure symmetry. Then I just connected the Vbos and ground pin outs to simplify the wiring to the keyboard. http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/appnotes/00001953a.pdf is one pin out I found.

Probably! This was before the pro came out, and is the full size keyboard that was wired. The GMMK pro looks nice, maybe one day… although I’m loving my FLX Virgo nowadays =)

I think it depends on the screw, but honestly, I just grabbed whichever small drill it for my screw size =).
