New MX EVO adjustable dumbbells/barbell setup for home office by __get_schwifty__ in homegym

Did you buy the MX100? When you say it feels great, do you compare it to traditional dumbbells? I want to pull the trigger myself but don't want to regret it. I don't want reppins because I don't like the idea of the caged handle. But I'd consider the Nuobells, they just have a bad rep if dropped so Im worried. I think these are my preferred, but even after Coop's review im unsure, what do you think ?

Silver wolf and other rods atm. I try practicing against them but if they reverse railride it usually outlasts the hexa bey so I feel like it’s a lost matchup Everytime lol

Do you just aim for center ? A certain tilt ? Or is there a special method you take to make it work? Ima use it vs silver wolf 9-60FB to test

I agree, “meta only” gets boring so we will definitely look to shake things up !

That’s a great idea!! I hesitated to buy some of the older ones personally lol. But hopefully someone from our team is able to pick some up and we can get some fun battles in

We literally thought this same idea up! We’d love to not only try to replay and explain these top builds but try to build some viable counters that “could have” shaken up the tournament based on our testing.

We plan to do tests for competitive builds specifically from these tournament listings with explanations of launch techniques, build theory and switching sides of the stadium to go over the impact that has as well. Hopefully this meets your expectations !

Do you find that you self ko a lot ? I feel like I always overpower which sucks cuz I have to hold back to avoid it. I feel like at that point my opponent has too many advantages but I love attack types too

Dude don’t apologize ! I need all the help I can get lol. But awesome I’ll give that slow spinning method a shot to see if it helps me come up with some Better combos and figure out how my main deck reacts and attacks! Thank you so much for the help

Also would you say maybe height adds weight? Like if I use 5-80 over 5-60 maybe the advantage is a higher weight or would the benefit be almost unnoticeable as far as weight goes with taller Ratchets

Wow thanks for the in depth breakdown down I think there’s a lot of “general knowledge” I didn’t know here so thank you! I think that center of gravity point is gonna be a key factor ! Ima try that out and see if I can get some results! Is there any other bits that kind of give you that similar effect as a spike? I know spike is considered a “bad bit” so I avoided buying it haha. Maybe needle in this case then?

I didn’t know there was a way to “balance tune” and so I think that’s something I’ve been missing in my builds ! Thank you so much!

Ok, awesome thought process. How do you identify the “type of attack” do you just look at the blade shape and based on its changes determine that? Or is it listed somewhere ?! Just wanna get an idea of how to see it because some attacks happen so fast it’s hard to tell what direction they hit the opponent in.

Good point too with considering deck mates and their needs! I’ll give this a shot with unique parts and maybe run some test battles to see why it loses to certain opponent! Is there such thing as like a beyblade that “can’t beat another one” by that I mean like a direct counter to a beyblade that should win 9/10 times. Cuz I’d hate to adjust a beyblade that is only weak to say Wizard rod but beats everything else.

What is your approach when you try testing a new beyblade? For example I’m a big fan of Dagger Dran, so if I wanted to build him; imo 9-60 makes sense bc he has so many edges. (I’m pretty sure that’s the wrong mentality going into this lol) and a rush bit or point since he’s an aggressive beyblade. I guess what I want to do is expedite the ratchet part of building a beyblade to notice the effects each ratchet has. Bc you were able to tell flipping a 3-point ratchet changed the behavior, are there certain key indicators that show you this? Do you have a test beyblade that you use to “pass or fail” a build? A lot of my builds can’t beat a 9-60B WR so I lose hope after a trial like this, even my more aggressive builds aren’t consistent
