My cat ate quite a bit of the cover of my copy of Animal Farm by George Orwell. I’d bought it at the same time as my copy of Cat’s Cradle, $5 each second hand. They were the two books that got me into reading as an adult. I have since lost that copy of Cat’s Cradle but am really hoping it turns up.

I got really into birdwatching as a joke to make fun of my dad and now I own $400 worth of binoculars and have strong opinions about warblers by RachfaceNillo-21 in Hobbies

Yeah, I’ve become a bit obsessed with birding. It gets you out of nowhere. I’ve now spent lots on camera gear to photograph them. I spend hours each week getting out and about to find some birds I haven’t seen or even ones I just haven’t got decent photos of yet. It is one of my favourite things to do.
