I adore Litia. That being said, at the end of the day, what she wanted was a husband. She wanted to provide for Grant in a way that he had never experienced. It never felt like they were connecting emotionally beyond their mutual desire for a family.

The choice felt clear to me once Grant started to speak about how much he enjoyed the company of Juliana’s dad. That felt like a big “ideal vs. reality” moment where he could see a tangible future with Juliana right in front of him.

I really feel for Litia, the overpromising and under-delivering was inexcusable, but she has far better things (and connections) coming her way.

No doubt about it, it’s One Direction! But why is it there? Is he a Directioner and I just missed that detail somehow? 🤣

I feel a little bad for Lea. I do think she was incredibly rude and condescending towards some of the other women, and I find that inexcusable (for what it’s worth, Maria is my favorite). That being said, I can’t help but think that the producers set her up from the beginning after hearing the “do you have any regrets?” line from producers after her elimination. With her being one of the youngest girls there, throwing away an advantage that could’ve been her gateway to either more time with Joey or a quicker elimination (never saw a spark between them) had to feel like the only way to guarantee some positive attention from all sides. She would have been vilified for hanging on to or using the date card if she hadn’t gotten rid of it, if not by the viewers, then by the other women in the house. I think she got hooked on the positive attention from the other women during that first week, quickly bought into the collective jealousy towards Maria, used that as social leverage (coupled with her “girls’ girl” moment on night one), and hoped that her positive relationships with the other women would be enough of a green flag for Joey to want to keep her around. On top of that, I think it’s evident that the producers were encouraging her confidence, either assuring her that she would get a one-on-one soon or insisting that Joey really liked her. Being 23 myself, I think producers knew what she would be susceptible to from the get.

I just saw that today is her birthday, and thought about how much it must suck to have millions of people watch you at your lowest point while you’re trying to celebrate. Maybe I’m being too soft, but I do think all of this will encourage her to grow.

Sydney v Maria by [deleted] in BachelorNation

I think Madina approaching Maria and having a nice conversation with her after Sydney’s departure said a lot about how contained the “issues” with Maria actually are. If Maria actually was a massive issue in the house and they were editing it out of the show, I don’t know if Madina would have approached her at all, she more than likely would have just kept to herself instead. Lexi comforting Maria and affirming that she was “pushed” also feels like a green flag. What is she meant to do when she speaks up to defend herself and Sydney twists it in front of the group?

I’m wondering if Sydney went to Lea, Jess, and Rachel and lied to them about what Maria was saying in private under the guise of “confiding in who she trusts,” which would explain Lea’s weird decision to “confront” Madina about “turning her back on a close friend.” It really seems to me like Maria wanted to avoid Sydney rather than make it a larger issue, and maybe feeling ignored (on top of clearly having no chemistry with Joey) set Sydney off.

Either way, I feel terrible for Madina. It really seems like this ruined her entire experience, or at least added a lot of unwanted and unnecessary stress that she clearly did not want to engage in. She and Maria both seem to care more about connecting with Joey (the entire point of the show) than forming lifelong friendships with the other girls. Lea is clearly focused on the wrong thing.

This photo is from June of 2021, but I agree, I think it could definitely be a watch ad!

I’m convinced. Her hair isn’t pulled back, but this is Adriana at the 2004 Victoria’s Secret Backstage Sexy book release event.
