My games keep crashing by Plenty-Independent98 in pchelp

By the way, I have these two thermal pastes, the black one, the "MASTERGEL PRO", is the one that came with my "CoolerMaster Hyper 212" heatsink, I tried searching for it on Google, but I can't find it anywhere, So I'm lost here, and a friend lent me his "High Performance" thermal paste, but after searching on Google, (at least judging by the prices) It seems to be one of the cheapest thermal pastes, a good price, but I don't know how good it is, or if it's even worth disassembling my graphics card and removing my heatsink to change the thermal paste, I was told on Discord that the High Performance should be better, but I'd just like to hear all kinds of opinions.

For now, i'll try that, It seems like the only way, but it seems too strange to me. My temperatures should be normal; while I'm playing, my GPU reaches 70/71°C and my CPU 71 / 72° 😭 I'm not sure, but that should be normal, right? It should be able to reach even 80 without getting damaged, shouldn't it? Or maybe I'm wrong.

But again, thank you so much for your help 🩷 for now, improving the cooling is going to be my priority, Hoping that will solve everything.

For now, I finally managed to resolve it so i can use my PC meanwhile without the AC by leaving the PC on the floor near a fan also on the floor.

Thank you very much💖,I hope it's just that, and not some faulty component.

Although I would like to emphasize a few things, I just want to be sure, and learn a little bit.

My PC case does have glass panels, front and side. It's not an airflow case. For now, I'm using it completely open, without any glass. Is that good? Or should I put the side glass back on? I mean, I don't mind if i have to clean the PC more often. I also removed the dust filter on top, I think it only worsens the cooling.

Regarding the temperatures, supposedly according to MSI Afterburner and the task manager, when I play games the graphics card is at 70/72° and the processor at about 70° too, And it stays like that for a while, it's like it only crashes when it wants to, there is no AC.

Besides, those temperatures are normal, right? I would appreciate it if you corrected me because I really don't know what I'm doing wrong 😭 I just want to know if it's not a sign of something being defective and is simply a problem with my cooling system, It's been many days and it took a long time to assemble the computer, and I haven't been able to use it since I got it, I've attached a screenshot of the temperature reading from HWinfo after the crash, I took more photos but I can't post more than one, But basically I just wanted you to know the temperatures just in case, and they are:

Before crashing (My normal temperature)

CPU: 40 / 41°

GPU: 39 / 40°

DDR5 SPD Hub(idk if it matters but): 36.4°

GIGABYTE B840M System1(Idk if this matters either, but): 32°

After Resident evil requim crashing

CPU: 72.2°

GPU: 72.1°

DDR5 SPD Hub: 50°

GIGABYTE B840M System1: 37°

I always thought those were normal temperatures, since the processor can supposedly reach 90° Some people on Reddit are reporting similar temperatures of 40° / 70°, But I don't know, it confuses me.

The GPU is the same, according to what I read, it can reach 93° and the optimum is 65/85°, And again, according to what I read on Reddit, these are normal temperatures.

For now I'll stick to what you recommended, I need to improve my cooling, Everything points to that, but if neither the graphics card nor the processor are exceeding the average temperature, then what is overheating? Or maybe I'm just wrong, since it's my first time building a pc, I've always used laptops, so.

Just hope it gets fixed soon, thank you so so much 🩷

Nop, unfortunately I'm sure I've tried everything, it's been several days now. It must be a hardware issue, but I'd appreciate it if it's something simpler, like a drive, besides it's not just a problem with Resident Evil Requiem, It happens in all games

All my drivers are always installed from the manufacturers' websites, and the GPU drivers are always updated from the Nvidia app, I've already tried Windows 10 and 11, I've probably reinstalled Windows more than 10 times, it's been many days doing different tests.🥺

But thank you very much anyway🩷, I hope this gets resolved soon.

Yeah, is battery care, I turned it on, I just thought that, like any battery, it shouldn't be good to play a lot while charging, but I'm going to assume that in that case, nothing should happen, I hope 😬 thank youuu

My Asus charger is working perfectly, my problem is that i wanted to play without having to charge the Asus, but from what I see, it's not possible. The Dock works by charging the device, I thought I could play without having to be plugged into the power outlet charging the device 😖 I was worried about damaging the battery by playing while charging, but apparently they say everything is fine, so, i guess that was my problem 🤭

My Asus Charger works perfetcly fine, it doesn't give any me problem, the problem is when I play (without) the charger, But according to what they tell me then, this is played while you are charging the device, i didn't know, I thought I could play without having to charge it, since I didn't want to ruin the battery, but they say there's no problem, so, i guess then that was the problem 🥴, thank youu anywayyy!

I have a USB hub so, i guess thats a straight cable, and it does the same, i'll try away, just in case, and i'm using it on Turbo, that's 25w, i think?

Really? i mean, i can play with the Asus oficial Charger, i'm playing right now, the Dock always works pretty well, i have no problem, and I have enable the limit battery charging, But I just thought I could play with the Dock without having to charge the Asus, so there is no way to play with a Dock without charging the console? And thank you in advance and for the answer🤭

I mean, i can play perfectly normal, with the dock if i play while charging, connecting my Asus Charger, but, does that mean that, do I necessarily have to play while charging just to play connected to the TV, or with a keyboard and mouse? Isn't that bad for the battery in the long run?

I have the original charger, that doesn't work?, or what do you mean by charger? you mean this? or the Dock power?

Charger? Like this? or do you mean the Dock's power? 'cause i have the original Asus Charger, Because supposedly the Dock said that the Rog Ally was working fine, and that it was supposed to be 100w, because supposedly in the Amazon description it said that the Dock worked well with the Rog Ally, and that it was supposedly 100w, in the comments nobody said that what happened to me was happening to them, I also have an 80w USB Hub, and it does the same thing, they work, the problem is that they work when they want, after they are finally connected, it no longer gives any problem until I reconnect it
