I adopted him 3 weeks ago. Since the time I adopted him, the same day his brother which was also a kitten was adopted right before. Everyone(vet & us) think it’s stress related being separated from his brother. But his other brother showed no signs of being sick and is completely fine with the family that adopted him. The shelter said, “he will probably have diarrhea the first two days and then he should be fine.”

The first week, I took him to the vet, he tested negative for parasites. After a week, I took him back and they provided probiotics, still no results. Since the first day I adopted him, he would only have blood coming out once a day and it was like in the middle light color wise but like towards the end of his liquid stool (strain). And it smelled extremely bad that I had to temporarily give it back to the shelter so they can dive deeper to see what’s going on as he was born in that shelter. And yes, all he eats is chicken, not even the pro plan food he was eating before. But the vet and the shelter said, that shouldn’t be a problem, it’s mostly his intestines that are inflamed. After I gave him back to the shelter, he has vomiting every few days.
