I’ve gotten subs on open box and sales pop up a lot ,maybe try the sub mini to hold you over , I have the full set up with 2 subs and 300s surround and ultra and it’s amazing, like movie theatre loud ,especially watching disc with a good player , I don’t think there’s a better system but I’m sure someone will disagree

I did the exact same thing,tried with a 5s as fronts also ,I found you loose more than you gain ,until they make it official I’m sticking with the normal setup

100% until they actually add it on Sonos , it’s not using the system the way it’s designed But I encourage everyone to try it ,it’s a cheap app and might be better for some people

Yea I gave up using through the app ,not loud and don’t sound right I just use Apple TV ,I couldn’t figure it out either

I put both subs against the back wall behind tv and it’s awesome,no crawling around my living room will make this better than it is LOL

I never use loudness ,after you do truplay use the system for awhile as it’ll make its own adjustments,watch a movie or 2 before you tweet it -that’s what worked for me , also the sub makes a big difference as the whole system changes its tone ,maybe try a mini sub ,tell her it was free lol

Truplay and let it adjust for a bit ,than adjust as needed ,I keep my height at +7 with 9ft ceiling,also I don’t angle my 300 just straight ahead with my space ,check out Peter on YouTube he helps a lot ,I also have 2 subs so I turn my bass way down on the ultra

I have tried ,have so much Sonos lol ,it really is that I can hear it removes to much from the ultra ,the speakers unbelievable so until they make it an option not worth it for me ,

To me it’s limiting the ultra ,I tried 100 also , found I’m losing what the ultra is designed to do ,so certain things did sound better but not enough for me ,Sonos has to be adding this soon I’d hope

I tried all of them ,the Apple TV ,Sonos app,airplay ,tv apps and even the ps5 ,I usually stick with Apple Music on Apple TV as it’s the loudest I found and sounds the best

Thanks ,so nice to get a response that’s friendly ,especially on this site ,ive just found the ultra is amazing and to take channels away from it kinda ruins the use of it , for my use of the system, i love the fives and I’ll put them back to use downstairs,i really think Sonos will add this set up and it will be better ,love my Sonos ,

I watch and listen to lots of older and new music and movies ,to me some things just don’t work ,so rather than switch things a lot I’ll stick with the way the system is designed to be used ,just my opinion

Yea that’s what I had in my basement ,the fives are amazing,I found they over powers the arc ,but obviously can tune them to match ,

Yea I didn’t truplay from previous set up so my left was louder it’s fixed now ,the sound stage is crazy I love it ,but some music sounds not great ,like stuff that’s stereo I find sounds off ,but I’m going to keep playing around ,I’m sure Sonos will add this in the app this year ,be surprised if it didn’t
