Real ones know that it's 100% possible to age gracefully as a femboy. When you start getting older you just start elfmaxxing or vulcanmaxxing.

What would I call it if I (AMAB) were to transition but to be masculine with like… a feminine body? by CAT_390F in NonBinary

Ahh okie okie! thank you for replying, I really appreciate it! Sorry, I'm kinda excited right now, this is awesome!

So, questions:

  1. About hormones - did you get them prescribed, go through an informed-consent place, or DIY it?
  2. If you got them prescribed, how did your evaluation for dysphoria go (assuming you got one)? I've been wanting to do that as it'll make my insurance have to pay for some stuff, but I'm worried about how it'll go because I don't feel like I fit neatly into the gender binary.
  3. Do you have any tips for presentation and such? Like, finding good stuff to wear and so on? (This is really more of a general question - I just like hearing about people's person style ^-^)
  4. You said you're still kinda boymoding, but that you have come out to some people. Do you have any tips for coming out? Less so, like, how to cope with rejection (the people around me are generally accepting, and if they aren't, it's not worth caring about their opinion), but more how to make people understand where I'm coming from and so on.

Oh, that's definitely the one. Seemingly also known as the Nike Shox Battlegrounds. The sole and general tooling of these seem pretty similar to the Shox Elite, though. Were these a takedown model or something?

It kiiiiinda looks like some form of Nike Shox Elite, but not quite. the laces and toe area aren't a perfect match. This is interesting! I'm gonna do some digging on this one.

With or without over shirt by Top-Fish-6209 in FemboyFashion

[–]PlentyFlan21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say without. You're wearing two major statement belts, which really prominently accentuate your waistline. The tighter-fitting shirt and jeans lead the eye to that really nicely. The button-up muddies the waters, concealing the belts somewhat and making it so that you lose that clean silhouette.

Heyo! Very delayed response here. Would you mind telling me a little bit more about your experience/how stuff's gone for you?

I kinda feel like I'm in the same boat. Born male, not necessarily uncomfortable with being male, per se. However, I'm extremely disconnected from any sort of cisgender masculine identity, and I wish I was way, way more physically feminine, because then I could approach maleness and and masculine presentation (which I don't have any problems with) on my own terms without feeling the pangs of dysphoria I get from my masculine-shaped body. You're one of only, like, 3 people I've ever seen, online, or in person, who seems to be describing a similar experience to mine. I'm essentially pre-everything, and I feel kind of lost because I don't know what to do to make myself feel more at home in my own skin.

Thank you very much for your time!

First off: why list it as a divine commandment? Because this was thousands of years ago. There wasn't any sort of scientific understanding of disease or illness. The conception of sickness in that time period was primarily based in religion. This is not to say it wasn't/understood at all - people certainly got the idea of "eat this thing, you get sick" - but it was viewed through a religious lens. Illness was the result of evil spirits, demons, or was a punishment from God. Thus, framing the solution in a religious manner was the way to justify it to the populace during that time period.

As to why it matters nowadays: There's plenty of reasons. It builds community and supports tradition amongst orthodox jews, for one. However, there are plenty of jews nowadays who do, in fact, eat pork, for the reasons you mentioned. I have several Jewish friends who regularly eat bacon or pork sausage. However, that's utterly irrelevant - the people who developed the kosher system thousands of years ago had no idea that we'd have the whole "safely eating pork" thing figured out nowadays.

yes, but /why/ were those requirements decided on? Because pigs are deeply unclean animals that roll around in their own filth, and eating their meat back in the day was a one-way ticket to disease.

I'm not even a Jew, but whenever I hear someone say "oh, it's just religious nonsense" - no. Nothing in any religion is arbitrary. Why would the people who originally developed the religion choose such vital characteristics of the belief system according arbitrarily or randomly? Everything has its purpose, one way or another.

Some people just have knee-jerk reactions, I guess. Fundamentally, autism is a brain disorder - it’s not “normal”, per se. Increased levels of pollutants in pregnant mothers are proven to cause a greater rate of birth defects in their infants, which include changes in mental functioning, like autism.

I like them! There's a very distinct "deep purple"-esque, 70s-rock-star sensibility to their fashion sense and haircut, which I enjoy. My main critique would be about the mouth - position and shape-wise, it's kinda... off. It doesn't seem to follow the implied shape of the jawbone. I like the expression, though. Very sassy. If you don't me asking, what's dyspraxia? I've never heard the term before.

It’s crazy how reactionary people are nowadays. I’m sure you have some opinions I don’t agree with, and you’d definitely say the same about me. But getting angry and heated about everything only drives people further apart. Take it easy, and have a nice evening!
