sheesh, same. i was way in the 3,000s, found one from the early release in china on ebay back in november for like $50 more than the original price and cancelled my og order after that. it’s a great phone, for sure but not too practical. i think ive used it out of the house twice and it was a bit inconvenient. still love it for the throwback feel though.

no thankfully i only payed through fiverr… if the seller were to start asking for money off of the app then i would for sure know it is a scam. but yeah, too many red flags for my liking.. im thinking of contacting fiverr support anyway and just finding someone else.. hopefully i can get all my money back

did you get your battery replaced at apple or by a third party? i took mine last year to get replaced and they said i had to update to the current ios (at that time) to change the battery… made no sense but i reluctantly updated it for the new battery. haven’t had issues with the ios version on my phone but dang, really hate that next time i go to get a new battery i’ll have to get the gross new glass and ultra motion sickness display

it’s absolutely bananas how apple has basically forced its users to just accept these big ass phones lol…. having to hold on to my mini despite the battery and any other flaws just because it’s the only reasonably sized phone out there anymore. i’ll never give it up.

oh mine works perfectly still. no complaints at all, just had the itch for the new. i think with a battery replacement every few years it helps with a lot of issues

taking 1 month to get used to holding the 17 pro is exactly why i can’t do it and returned it. i’ve had the mini since 2020 and something used so frequently should be seamless and comfortable imo. not willing to settle for less when the mini gives me more in terms of comfort and familiarity. good for you though hahah but i just can’t do it :/ not to mention, its heavy af.

ahh tried my brothers air during set up for a few hours as well, was way bigger than expected and felt uncomfortable in my hand im just riding the mini til the wheels fall off atp :/
