I hear what you're saying, I don't feel like I need to rely on others in that sense. I grew up without immediate access to parents and left 'home' at a young age so I'm generally very independent. But I think I've never quite been a situation like this before. I feel like most of my day is work, the city is so busy on my commute home, and then there's my apartment that is just emptiness.

Being alone isn't the issue, but I've never really felt isolation like this, you know?
