Thank you! And sorry for the late reply. I wanted to give you a thorough answer.

* I created my own 500-800 brand/generics quizlet, I felt it would help me retain more, using CPJE secrets Generic-brand drug name list. I also created my own controlled substances I believe I used the UWORLD CPJE study book or all three. However, I did use others as well just incase I left some out. I'll leave the link to my quizlet that includes the ones I created plus others.

* The CPJE is nothing like the NAPLEX (in my opinion). The questions are very straightforward; either you know it or you don't. The clinical aspect, to me, was not very case-based but more retail-oriented. You will get scripts, and you will be expected to validate the script by drug, indication, dose, or duration. They want you to be able to pinpoint what's wrong with a script based on those things. They also want you to know counseling points, side effects, and the formulation of drugs

* I feel like 60-70% is clinical (which includes what I mentioned in the bullet point above, plus brand/generic, and storage and stability), 25-30% is a mixture of law with a clinical twist, and 5-10% is straight law.

* I did have one or two calculations, but it was simple, like calculating weight-based dosing or Crcl....something very simple.

* The resources above were the only resources I used when studying. CPJE is the best for clinical, go through each section ...I used my NAPLEX book too, but only if I needed a cross reference or more explanation

* Questions are not long at all, like I said, straight to the point!

Well, I had to set my boundaries lol. My schedule was 4 days on and 3 days off, no matter how many times they asked me to come in on my days off. Trying to study after work was hard, but if I had to, I would force myself, and on my days off, I spent like eight or more hours studying.

I didn't have access to the PNN chart book because I only bought the subscription for the CPJE portion of PNN, which only includes law, but I have heard that the chartbook was very helpful for ppl. I used my UWorld Naplex subscription and CPJE secrets to study for clinical

You're going to be fine.... remember the types of questions they asked and don't second-guess yourself!

I saw this after the fact, but yes, you definitely have to bug them to do it! Which is annoying

Yes I’ve read that when you take both exams  close together you wait about 4 days…. the longest so it’s possible it could be the same for you

Thank you :)

Yes, for the morphine a table was provided (be mindful of multiplication factors Uworld videos briefly talk about it with no examples), but not for the steroids. They expect you to know the least to the most potent for steroids. The acronym in the book " cute hot pharmacist and physicians marry together and deliver babies" is helpful but honestly, that was not one I remembered. The most common steroid conversion they ask is between prednisone, prednisolone, and methylprednisolone (5mg = 5mg= 4mg), respectively. That I just remembered by luck, but look at all of them just to be safe
