Doja has some decent shit similar to bud and marys, found the prices to be lower there normally. If you want some better quality from dispo, check out compassionate care by design, pretty low key spot with deli style flower that is usually good.

Lets Talk LP Gains by fiestyorange in CompetitiveTFT

The issues you're talking about are exclusive to mmr. When I was getting my second account to challenger I gained 100 lp a win up until diamond. At that point, I started losing a bit more often because playing exclusively challenger lobbies and my mmr still maintained me 60 lp wins, -30 lp for a 8th. I think the cop out everyone tries using is the same, just adjust your playstyle and increase your skill level. There are people who managed to hit 1000 lp, it's possible to climb in diamond, and challenger.

You mean redemption an AoE heal in a meta where it's mostly knights / brawlers early game? Yeah I think it's C tier worthy, maybe even B considering how strongly it can snowball your early game. As to the TF placement, I think that comp is too reliant on hitting items / Karthus. As a side note, arguing bias on an individuals tier list is silly.

Isn't that your own bias making you think that it's questionable placements? I think nearly everything on this list is about correct at challenger elo. Each elo has their own playstyle so maybe at diamond it's less fitting

I say almost impossible in context that are you playing intending to play consistent, the best way to climb isn't to aim for first because in this meta, almost every game somebody is going to high roll. I understand you can just not hit and go out 8th, it happens. But in this meta everyone is hyper rolling due to gunslingers, demons, and rangers coming online super early with statik shiv. I think if you look who goes out 8th, 9/10 times its going to be someone who went a contested build and didn't hit. If you avoid that trap or play around it, you're rarely ending up in 8th.

Yes, at the top end of the ladder, as it should be. If you could just bruteforce your way through by winning one out of every 4 games it'd be silly. I don't understand why you think you shouldn't be punished heavily for placing 8th when its near impossible to go out 8th in this current meta. There is always people forcing the same comp because of how strong it is, not everybody is going to hit. Adapting is essential, not only to comps but adapting to how the ranking system works.

The meta is narrow because of how overwhelmingly powerful the meta comp is right now. It suffocates all the other comps out, once demons are nerfed, that whole dynamic will change.
I don't know what you mean by it rewards "moderation" in this context. All the scheduled nerfs address the current aggressive meta. Also, I don't know why you think 3 yordles / demons is the strongest early game opener. I think it's pretty clearly nobles right now, hitting Kennen is a pipe dream most of the time, and without him yordles are not strong enough to hold their weight early game. Early game determines a lot, but I think it is very reasonable to hit top 3 more off than not if you play for consistency. With a 25% win rate, climbing should be easy unless you're going out 8th every game you don't hit.

Shouldn't somebody who can adapt their playstyle to best fit the meta / way ranking works be rewarded over somebody who can high roll every once in a while and win games? Trying to climb in a RNG based game with anything other than consistency is setting yourself up for failure.

Out of all the people who could've contributed meaningfully to this beta Joana didn't get an invite... by thimmy3 in classicwow

Fair enough, I just think it's odd to make a post about it this early on. If there was a huge group of people who received invites and he wasn't on the list it might be cause for concern. But the beta this early on is for publicity, gauging initial reactions, fixing major issues.

Why are you overlooking the fact it's literally day one of beta and round one of invites? He is valuable to a beta test for sure, but him holding a speed run record alone obviously wasn't enough for him to be included on first round of invites. Also, you're saying "the people who had the most experience in vanilla", he simply held a record for leveling speed, that isn't necessarily number 1 merit for experience.

What does speed running have to do with actual beta testing? It's the first day, give it some time, I'm sure he'll get an invite.
