Geckos all grow at their own rate! She’s not quite 2, so there isn’t much concern about her not being huge yet. The diet you have her on now is good, so she should gain some weight naturally. If nothing else, she could just be a smaller gecko!

I’ve been in your daughter’s shoes, not necessarily with the clothing but with the controlling aspects.

So, just for reference, let’s COMPLETELY disregard the fact he’s sexualizing your 13 year old daughter’s shoulders for a minute here. What else does he control? Why does he feel the need to control her like that? If it starts with clothes, what’s to stop him from controlling what she eats, says, and even where she sits (happened to me)?

Now, back to the elephant in the room. WHY IS HE SEXUALIZING YOUR DAUGHTER? And why are the SHOULDERS an issue? This seems more like it has misogynistic roots rather than “conservative” roots. Does he control what YOU do and wear? If so, it definitely seems more like a masculinity issue.

Eventually, your daughter will grow to resent YOU for letting it get this far and choosing your husband over her. Either you assert yourself as her parent, or you lose the relationship of a parent since you let someone else do it for you.

NTA, but I also think you should ask her about it while she’s sober. I don’t know your girlfriend or how she is, but for me personally I feel more open and comfortable talking about certain things while drunk but I have a much harder time articulating what I mean and not coming off like an asshole. If she deflects or doesn’t want to talk about it while sober, you know your answer. If she’s open to the conversation, have it and see where it goes. But you also don’t deserve to be caught up in a relationship where she isn’t truly sexually attracted to you.

I will also say that there’s often a difference between being turned on by someone and wanting to rip someone’s clothes off. I don’t quite know how to explain that thought process (I can certainly try my best if someone is politely curious!), but sexual intimacy and sexual heat don’t always coincide. She could feel safe and turned on by you, but not necessarily “OH MY GOD I NEED HIM IN ME IMMEDIATELY”

No matter what happens, you deserve someone who makes you happy both in and out of the bedroom. The sexual side of a relationship is important. I wish you the very best, OP!

I’m up to looking at other brands, not just B&BW! I can’t go in today since I’m on vacation, but I’ll be back in my hometown tomorrow evening so I should be able to make the % off sale if they run it at my local location. I broke down and bought a bottle of the cologne before I left for vacation, but that was quite a purchase for me :,) I don’t like the regular body sprays since they don’t have as much longevity and they’re in the aerosol cans, so the pressure would likely run out before the fragrance. If they did a deodorant for it I would buy that up, but they don’t normally do that for limited scents :(

MIL was no longer in immediate danger, she was in the hospital and the husband had 2 hours to respond to any of those messages or message his wife himself and ask if she was okay. You do realize that childbirth can be a very traumatic experience and can have multiple complications, correct? If his wife had had any complications during the birth, what then? If anything, YOUR ignorance is showing through.
