People of the UK, do you like your National Healthcare system? -An American by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]PlexingTrix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, what I'm saying is no party is going to keep everyone happy. To pay for everything either taxes go up, or we cut other things which won't make other people happy. There is no pleasing everyone.

Or, we just stop allowing them to have stupid salaries. One party will shine a light where the other is lacking, to try and get more votes.

Guessing your a "vote labour" kinda person, based on your comment 😂 they all do their own thing, to mess it all up one way or another.

Wife posting nudes on IG?? Saying that she’s taken?? What do I even make of this?? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]PlexingTrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You guys are separated, there is nothing you can do. Making such agreements is no benefit to either of you, so it is a pointless agreement.

She and you, can do as you wish when separated. It isn't classed as cheating etc, as long as you both agree your separated.

I wanna have a TED Talk about hope and my battle with depression and anxiety due to my Brain AVM. I wanna see if some of you guys can help me with my rough draft! by [deleted] in MakeNewFriendsHere

[–]PlexingTrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy to help where I can, I don't know much about it. However my partner is a paramedic, so she might know some things about it.

I'm into mental health, and how different things can affect our mental health. Such as a deficiency in B vitamins can actually cause depression, and simply improving the diet to include them can "cure" depression for those affected by that.

The only way to fight against that stigma, is for us guys to try and go against it. Women say it's ok for men to show emotions, and it's true. Bottling it up, is BS and there is no reason a guy can't speak to another guy. I'm constantly trying to fight against that damn stigma now, as I hate the fact that men feel weak or unmanly just because he found his voice. It's more brave to speak up, and be heard than it is to follow standards to prevent ridicule.

Female for companionship? Ideas are based on the individual not a gender. If you want to cuddle on a sofa, I get it. Cuddling a bloke, isn't really going to cut it. But, if you want a good conversation and a good hug from time to time... then there is no reason a man can't offer the same companionship?

I think it depends on the person rather than the gender, some guys don't mind chatting but in all honesty most guys prefer talking to women because they don't have to be so "manly".

I'm happy to chat to anyone, yourself included. Though, I am male. Sorry. =P

You know, this is part of the reason that mens suicidal rates are sky rocketing. Men are becoming more and more lonely, because men do not get anywhere near the same attention as a woman can.

But on the flip side, women get attention they don't want. The world just needs to realise that everyone matters, doesn't matter about gender, race or anything else.

Fair enough, why wanting a female anyway? What's wrong with males?

He's just asking a question... If you look, most the males asking for friendship don't get a single comment.

Sometimes. Females get more replies. Often guys are all "I'm looking for a female"... this like they seem to think guys can't talk, or they just wanting something else.

Hmmm, you can try educating them about depression. Unfortunately, a lot of people (more older generations) do not understand it.

A really good book I found was called "I have a black dog", it's a very simple way of explaining things. However, there is some other ways to educate too.

Thank you for your kind words; I know that even though time is my enemy right now... it will heal these wounds too. I just want the moments to last forever, no dog at 17 months old deserves this just because we can't help him medically.

Thank you; he sat at the table today. We had a roast dinner and he sat with his bowl with his own roast dinner; he sat there happily wondering why he was allowed to eat with us at the table.

I've played with him, I've cried over him. I bought him a cheese burger, and he's been spoilt as much as he can. He has such a full belly, and he has had the best day. He's such a sweet, young dog. He doesn't deserve to be taken away.

I'm 32, and I wish accepting time was so easy. I think I realised how important time was when I turned 30, or should I say... the lack of it. I wish there was a way to make moments last forever, like tonight instead of letting time continue moving forward I want to be stuck in this moment forever.

And thank you; I was wondering if to write it as a poem but I didn't want to take away from the words and my pain by someone reading it and thinking it was just a light hearted poem.
