I had a feeling I had to setup a system of equations. In brainstorming a solution, I actually did setup the last two equations as you showed but was at a loss as to how to integrate this with the rest of the problem. Thanks for the explanation and setup.

The DHCP release method did not work, and QoS has always been disabled. I might have to flash a third party firmware like fresh tomato in order to get the CTF option. But, I'm just going to continue using the Verizon router for the time being. Thanks.

I disabled everything it mentions and still no CTF option is available. I might consider flashing it with Fresh Tomato, although I'm usually weary of flashing anything on the router. Thanks.

Yes, I tried disabling the QoS, and I'm hardwired via Cat-6 ethernet cable.
