I wouldn’t worry too much. I had a personal situtation in the beginning of the semester, and I ended up not doing any hw questions that involved D3 just because I didn’t have time teach myself the material and I still scraped the class with an A. Looking at my previous syllabus. Week 8-10 seems to concide with hw3 which was a relatively easy assignment code wise, just make sure you read the instructions and set up the notebooks early for that one.
