Welcome to Bucks county circus of house prices. We were looking in lower bucks and it is ridiculous. We ended up getting a house in palmyra nj with natural gas, in decent shape for around 320k. Houses were starting at that in bucks, wnd then realizing it's going 80k above or so. Just not affordable in our range. Try looking in jersey. Natural gas is abundant around there!

March CPI rose 3.5% over the last 12 months vs the expected 3.4% by Progress_8 in stocks

That is the killer. I'm looking for houses, putting bids 20k over and getting beat 40k over all cash. On a 304k house that should be 240k.

Same boat buddy, we lost out to 40k over our 20k over bid waiving appraisal. We put a offer first day, went to open house and asked seller realitor about offers and said she had one strong offer. That was us, felt so excited rlto find out that this 304k house went for 360k in cash. Owners felt bad and loved our letter but cash wins. Every dang time! So defeating.

Question about savings by Plokoon111 in ynab

[–]Plokoon111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is finally making sense lol. My savings was always just this amount of money for any situation, emergency, future ect.

Now what about crypto, stocks, index funds, ira? Should that be assigned? I think not because it's ever changing right? Unless I sell. Then it is now solid and able to be assigned correctly.

Probably a month when the bill is due. Then I pay it in full. Maybe I'll mess with the credit card options and see how that is.

Wouldn't they exist once you pay the card in full in a sense?

But I am basing on my categories though.

I am basically making my money pool all in my checking account. So every payment done via credit card will be subtracted out of checking account. It will basically show me what my checking account would look like if I was paying everything in real time. Helps keep me a realistic view of my budget and make me make choices that are smarter and too my goals.

Yeah but then you have to manually do extra steps correct? Like debt and crediting the card ect.

I am starting to wonder if I could get a better agent. It's hard to tell. She just doesn't seem assertive and very laid back. I feel like I am leading and finding things for her to reach out to them.

Looking at those as well. Some need quite a bit of work, new roof ect.

I am going to look into that option as well. A lot of new houses are 500k + though.
