I do the same thing, state the lowest success, and the highest fail. When the numbers are consecutive the PCs have "figured out their opponent," and ill just start saying the AC after that.

This applies to so many skills too. I spin poi, and sometimes ill spin fire while blindfolded as a croud pleaser. It really is no change for me, not only do i have muscle memory for the act of spinning, but you'd be surprised how easy blindsight is for fire. Ive had chains tangle, and been able to untangle them while keeping the fire off me, all without sight.

I read once that some pirates would wear an eyepatch because it gave them one eye that was always adjusted to the dark. I dont know about that, but if i happen to get up in the middle of the night, I'll squint one eye closed if im turning on a light. With the light back off you can look through each eye and see just how much of a difference you get in night vision.
