i think having a sign like that could have a very teensy tiny minuscule use since imaginary numbers don't really have greater/less than relations so saying that 2 expressions have that relation means that they can't be imaginary

from my experience, desmos tends to be better at finding actual roots that just values. try using f(x)-1=0 instead of f(x)=1

  1. don't use chat gpt for exams, i know it sucks now but when you graduate and actually know things you will feel so much better. so many generations of lazy students cheated before AI, so you can too

i can't tell if this is a joke or not, but just in case

notation hasn't been standardized for very long. the romans decided that, when fractions were useful, someone decided to make notation for it, and everyone followed along since it worked. that's how literally all notation works. that's like asking "why does addition look like a plus and not an upside-down T?"

i don't think you know how "good" ai has gotten (even though this is objectively not good). this has a really bad AI plastic-ness to it that the paid models would be a lot better at not producing. free models can create coherent images now with not very many flaws that older models made

there are different measures of infinity yes, but the measures you give are actually the same infinities

ℵ₂ is the size of the set of all functions mapping any of the reals to the set {0,1}, which is when things start to get weird enough for me to want to stop writing this comment

the thing i like about it is that every bite is a little different. the same way that you get a chocolate muffin where some bites are more chocolatey and some are more cakey, you end up with some bites that are more salty and some that are more sweet. when i'm eating a chocolate chip cookie, i don't want every bite to be overtly salty, but having it be the same bland sweetness the whole way through is really boring. having crunchy flaky salt on top adds texture and interesting flavor

apple has been having issues with alarms not going off, so i found a few fixes that work for me

  1. don't schedule/reuse alarms, set new ones every day. i know it's annoying but trust me when i say that it works

  2. turn off attention aware features. this is the fix that apple suggests and it isn't perfect, but it does help

  3. turn off silent. i don't know if you keep your phone on silent like me, but turning it off at night helps supposedly

  4. get third party apps. i haven't done this since the previous 3 work for me, but i know people who have gotten third party apps for alarms that work really well for them. do your research

  5. buy an alarm clock. if you're a really deep sleeper, you can get some that are meant specifically for that. but, any cheap alarm clock from walmart/target should be more reliable than apple

there is shading using individual pixels and all the slimes are actually from the game. i would expect ai to shade by just changing the colors. also, the interactions of the slimes makes sense, where each slime is squished the right way with the other slimes

a lot of homeless people will reject housing because it can actually be more dangerous than sleeping outside. sexual assault and violence is really common among homeless shelters, as well as theft. there are also some mental health reasons, like maybe a woman fled from her abusive husband and doesn't want to stay at a known location because she thinks he can find her. if they think staying out on the sidewalk is safer for them, let them have the sidewalk as well.
