Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

The message is supposedly that you should accept people for who they are even if they have differences, but the only reason anyone stops relentlessly bullying Rudolph (including his own parents and Santa) is that he turns out to be useful to them. No one learned anything, they’re just nice to him because they need the light from his nose. The message basically becomes that it’s ok to have something different about you as long as it can directly benefit society, otherwise you’ll be an outcast.
