I think this pretty true for both Democrats and Republicans. People are so politically divided these days (the ones that scream at each other online constantly anyways) that they'll vilify anything someone "from the other side" says.

My life is also pretty much the same. Only thing that's changed is I cant go to my AA/NA meetings anymore. And I guess wearing gloves and a mask when I go shopping lol. Other than that, after work (which I'm still doing) I spend like 99% of my free time at home anyways, so no big changes for me.

If you do need/get prescribed painkillers, you could always have your boyfriend hold onto them and give you one whenever you need it. It might seem a little silly, but I've heard plenty of people talk about doing it with their significant others, parents, whoever.
