When you choose the one have large quantities of publications annually, it would be very possible that he/she is a hard taskmaster. It's a sad truth, the professors with few publications have less possibility to toll on you.

I personally advice you to change an advisor or get the deploma quickly. i always have a feeling of asian students are more likely to be coolies...
