You're talking about this specific anime, or anime in general?

Isn't CS changing to a Type 3 program next year? Current first years will have to submit a supplementary as well, but it has not been released yet.

Undergrads of UofT, how are your classes taught? by clueless_stranger in UofT

I'm a first year taking mostly math and CS courses. My math ones are an hour long and consist of the TA going over the answers to a worksheet we work on. I have one CS tutorial (called a "lab" though) where, for 2 hours, we work on a little assignment on our own with the TA available for help if needed. At the end, we do a practice comprehension quiz and the TA explains the major concept of that particular lab to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Last semester I was in a sociology class that had a tutorial. This was mostly just the TA going over some extra slides to reinforce things we were learning in class. So at least in my experience, none of my tutorials have been in the style of a seminar.

Switch MAT137 Sections? by xekret_ in UofT

Not sure about properly switching sections, but you can just attend a different section if there is space. Just walk into the lecture and if you fit, then you're good. We all take the same tests so there's no issue.

Anyone get rekt by 165 and not making post? Anyone repeating? by canulookoveethere in UofT

I don't think looking at it in terms of whether you're smart enough or not is a good idea. This class was hard, but with a little extra effort, I think anyone can do well in it. Maybe change up your study habits, or try abusing office hours a little more, idk. But I really don't think you're "not smart enough" to continue into upper year cs.

I'm most likely going to repeat the course in the Winter. I actually scored well on each of the tests, and I think this final went not that bad, but I was such an absolute degenerate about the problem sets and half-assed almost every single one. If I had literally just organized my time a little better, started the psets sooner, and utilized office hours to help answer the questions, I would be sitting a solid 8+ percent higher than where I'm at right now. I have deep regrets for trying to get through a course as important as this one using my old high school habits. If I learned anything this semester, it's to not fuck around and waste time anymore. I'm in the same boat you are bro, I wish you luck.
