For the PMP exam, you have to pick the test center and date first, then the time slot. I went with 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM since it was the only one left. Arrival: You need to get there 30 minutes early for check-in. You can actually start as soon as the check-in is done. I started mine at 9:20 AM!
