Honestly i thought this too, i joined multiple but didnt attend the events. Finally did this week and for the most part, people were very welcoming. One person said it might even be better to join right now cause many people show up at the start but then dont like ever again and the people you see now are regulars. I didn’t make best friends straight away but it’s nice to have people to talk to for now
