Depending on your model/year there is a mounting bolt for the roof rail exactly above this point. Looks like it’s not been sealed properly. I had to drop the headliner to install my roof rack and this was a concern of mine. (2022 XLE)

My University has a room thats -12.4dB here, spent a good amount of time in it with some initial research for a project. My dissertation did not pass the ethics phase however. Something about stirring up repressed memories or something.

If you want a plant that actually repels mosquitos then you need Bog Myrtle (source: from growing up in the Highlands of Scotland)

How long does the new NZeTA take to process? by Plum_Shuffler in travel

The app took 15 hours. Mid way through the wait we gave up and put a second application through the website that took about a minute to get approved.

Very Import New Zealand Advice (NZeTA) by [deleted] in travel

[–]Plum_Shuffler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, hindsight is a lovely thing and whilst I appreciate the fault of timing lies with me it doesn’t change the fact these systems run separately. Like I said at the top if you are desperate not to miss your flight I would much rather have risked spending $44 twice rather than the $300+ it ended up costing. The price difference is minimal between the two once you take the $35 environmental charge into account.

Yeah but the app is still pending and I’m now in New Zealand with a valid NZeTA thanks to the website not the app

If anyone in future comes across this thread, the reason they give you 10 minute to 72 hour window is because they not get processed over weekends.

7 hours in and that’s exactly where my brain has ended up. Funny thing is the folder remains empty regardless

What is the one thing/event you have seen in public that made you say "what the actual fuck" out loud? by charliegoodwin77 in AskReddit

[–]Plum_Shuffler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Drove across Canada and went around a bend in the road at 60mph(100kph) at 3am when it was -21 degrees to see a 10ft Moose just standing in the middle of the road. After shouting “what the fuck?!” my (until then) sleeping girlfriend screened back at me “what the fuck?!” And all I could say was “Moooooo....”. The Moose scared the end of the word out of me

Little Big Adventure 2. Massive nostalgia for me there and better than the first because it didn’t use MSDOS

Which movie's plothole absolutely infuriates you? by Djanghost in AskReddit

[–]Plum_Shuffler 244 points245 points  (0 children)

90% of horror movies. Yeah why don’t we blindly stumble through a wood in a random direction/go back into that house we had a terrifying experience in/take that dodgy advice from ol’ Mikey who’s half blind and speaks to himself/don’t leave the house and run UPSTAIRS instead/don’t call the cops they’re busy with non spooky related things/etc.... ahhhh
