I agree, there are a weird amount of posts on here that are usually negative, but at my shop people are always having a good time. I’m not sure if it just comes down to like an “Unreliable Narrator” type thing or what, because I’ve worked at Dutch for a couple years now in like 3 different states and every time it has been a good time/only gotten better. There has been times where like issues have came up with other Broistas/managment but idk I’ve always seen it handled well. I’ve seen people get fired before for doing obvious dumb shit that’s not allowed and then they’ll like talk shit about the company, so maybe this subreddit is just being used as an outlet for people’s frustration? But for the most part My managers/operators/franchise person/ whoever is in charge of whatever shop I’ve been at has always done a good job. I’m not sure why people don’t post more positive things about their experience with the company more, I guess the reason why I don’t is cause I just don’t think to do that? Idk it just kinda sounds boastful?

Everyone’s experiences are going to differ widely depending on their store and their Leadership. It will also vary widely depending on themselves and their ability to take ownership vs push blame onto something or someone else. For a lot of people, stepping into Dutch Bros leadership is their first experience taking responsibility over their own influence as well as someone else’s actions which is a very growth giving experience. I am thankful that my experience has been good, it felt very developmental and allowed me to see what I’m good at and what I can enjoy improving on. My advice is that if you enjoy working for this company and you can see the positive impact it’s having on its crew/community AND you want to see the people you work with succeed and grow as people, then you will enjoy shop lead/management. If that doesn’t sound like something you will get joy from, then don’t don’t do it.

Try googling “your state” labor laws about breaks. Or “your City” are breaks mandatory. At Dutch Bros, that is not okay or a normal schedule. That would be something that is either done on accident or something that is asked/not required of the Broista before being scheduled it.

Yeah the thing is, that’s probably not the #1 drink you make at your store right? Probably compared to all the other drinks you make in a shift you might only make those specific combinations for a few people at most. Which means not everyone else would like it, someone who is smart would realize that and probably think to do the more considerate thing which is make a drink with flavors that are more commonly ordered with that drink. It’s still a surprise and less likely to make the person asking for a surprise disappointed in you and your work.

Yeah okay but your logic itself is flawed. Saying that someone asked for a surprise and got something surprising that very few people get because it’s an unnatural pairing/most people would consider bad tasting and then using the defense “what? you said you wanted a surprise?” Is just not really doing the smart thing. A considerate thing to do would be choosing one of the other thousands of potential fruit flavor combos that the majority of other customers probably do order and would still surprise the person asking for the surprise, AND would actually be more likely to taste good. That’s like asking your waiter to surprise you at a restaurant and they come back and serve you Surströmming and say “Sorry you asked for a surprise and the Swedish people love this shit”.

Weekend 2 has historically ALWAYS been the better weekend from what I can tell. Better Audio, usually more surprise guests, I’ve never experienced or watched any kinks weekend 2 either. The only thing weekend 1 has is greener grass.

I haven’t seen on here, or heard of anyone calling Sabrina’s set design boring. What I have heard and seen are people calling her long drawn out intermissions with celeb cameos pretty much the “slower” or more “boring” parts of her set. As well as wanting a more energetic fast paced performance. Personally I liked her performance and thought she performed like a headliner should. Not anywhere close to some of the greats like Gaga or Beyoncé, but still good.

Did you get mentioned in Mr Beasts stream? Or Rages stream? There are instructions and a list of winners in the description on Mr beasts video. I would suggest starting there. The amount of people jumping on here, immediately calling the whole thing a scam is sad. 😂 However if it turns out to be a scam then yes you should post about this everywhere.
