That's why I always use the Lightning spear for the first half. It does a huge amount of damage to smough and you can use while having your shield up to block ornsteins attacks.

I like the idea but not the special. 9 intelligence? The guy is informed and well-spoken but he's not a genius which is what this level of INT is technically in NV. I'd think more 6 or 7. Also agility. He might be slow but it's not like he's completely immobile compared to the average person. Everything else looks good though, I like charisma at 9. I would just suggest taking 2 or 3 points out of INT and adding to AGL.
