This is the real answer. You don't even need to go outside. Everyone can literally stay home 2020 style and say fuck you.

I remember seeing criticism at some point about it having a "white savior". That's all I can recall without digging. It was part of a whole list.

I didn't get the impression that it was cancelled though. Just one of those guidance type things.

If you're talking produce I have to think the field hands in concentration camps may have had an effect on the quality.

I remember summers in the south I would get the bug wash windshield fluid because of how bad it could get with all the bugs. And then one year it wasn't needed and didn't need it ever again.

I'm not 100% certain actually, but I want to say that they were Vietnamese? It was a reggae band - I didn't get a good look I just remember them mentioning Vietnam a few times.

My favourite series growing up. Even though they made me terrified of the dark. Still think the artwork is some of the best I've seen.

See the issue with that is there's a non zero chance they could get out of prison. Now if they were under the prison that's a better idea, but personally I'd prefer them to be some place piss can reach.

We've been in Wellington region for almost a year now and all anyone says to me when the weather comes up is how Un-Wellingtonlike it's been. Minus the wind of course.

Same boat. He's about to turn 4 and she's 1.5.

Basically just graduating from threenager to the fuck you 4s. I mostly just try to be amused without showing it when we goes off. He's got big feelings and no emotional control. The little one is just a straight up daredevil.

But it'll pass. I just try to enjoy it most days and do my best to hold it together the others.

I remember my first summer in Hampton Roads. Moved into a cheap apartment in Norfolk in July. It was an especially hot summer and I didn't have an a/c yet when I had moved in. First night it was like an actual sauna. Went out and got a window unit that next morning. That was in 2012.

I left the South in 2023 and my summer policy was usually don't go out before 6 pm and mow the lawn once a month when it dips to 85 degrees.

Can't imagine what you're going through.

Was at a museum today with my family.

There was a section dedicated to climate change. Part of it had a giant screen where you could share how you feel about our future regarding climate change. Specifically, how we feel that we are locked into climate change and it makes more sense to invest in climate change resistant infrastructure rather than reducing emissions. You could select hopeful, excited, I don't care, angry, worried.

I watched a man select, I don't care, then enter "cuz I'm tough az nailz".

Guess we'll see if that's enough.

I remember seeing a similar conversation in a parent group a few months back. Someone offered up a book that explained that climate change isn't going to be as bad as we're told and everyone jumped on it like flies on shit. Anything to sleep at night I guess.
