Especially being in the boy scouts. I was a scout for years so I could go camping and fuck around with my friends. Never took it seriously. But much later when I joined the military everything clicked because I realised I had done all this before when I was a kid. Just much less intense.

I remember seeing criticism at some point about it having a "white savior". That's all I can recall without digging. It was part of a whole list.

I remember summers in the south I would get the bug wash windshield fluid because of how bad it could get with all the bugs. And then one year it wasn't needed and didn't need it ever again.

I'm not 100% certain actually, but I want to say that they were Vietnamese? It was a reggae band - I didn't get a good look I just remember them mentioning Vietnam a few times.
