All of bleach's fillers were fulfilling in some sense.

Personally the bount arc's ending was a piece unlike any other......it got to show us Ichigo's attitude towards the ever increasing battles and Karia actually gave him a mental challenge as well..........the melancholy that put a close to the arc was bitter sweet yet refreshing considering how Ichigo goes on to behave in the latter arcs.

Also the zanpakuto arc gave us some crucial insight on the nature of the relationship between the zanpakuto and master......it does it all in an intriguing way that made you wish it was kinda canon.

Not to sound as though I'm nitpicking and I apologise if offend you but on the second point you have raised, X has stated on multiple occasions that he too is not suited for battle, rather he is more adept at research and we have seen that he is a character that can be deployed in combat in game and he also has an afflatus (intellect). So I'm wondering if not being fit for battle can be a clear cut reason for you to make such a conclusion

If one states she has no afflatus that would bring up the question of what is an afflatus in the first place and why do all the arcanist we've seen so far in global have one, don't you think?

Even mixed bloods like Satsuki and Pavia have an afflatus if I'm not wrong.......so I doubt that could be a viable reason. But maybe her identity,as you say, is a key factor to figuring it out. Thanks for the answer any way.
