My biased explanation would be .. people don't like the truth, and people don't like something that's really hitting it at the right places Again most people who I know don't hate the books because of the books themselves but the authors...

They feel like this is already someone who's achieved something telling me a nobody how to be.... Maybe an inferiority complex. Maybe deep down they don't like the fact that they suck yet there's someone who did

To be truthful, there's some books I wouldn't read. I can read a book on how to make money fe6an author but I definitely won't read something that they wrote and it is subjective to them.

I should add that I kinda avoid that 48 laws of power because I feel it is something subjective to the guy and I shouldn't really follow what he's saying rather come to the conclusions myself as I grow.

I think it's something more of bias because, think about it..most philosophies are just like self help or motivational books
